“Their friendship was only one aspect of their lives but it seemed to give meaning to all the others.”
I may not see or have the chance to talk to my best friends as often as I like. At one time, I know we spent more time together than apart, but over the years our lives have taken us into different directions; work, family, school, different states, different countries. But even though we are living away from one another, living our lives apart, they are still such a huge part of my life. I know that if I was to call anyone of the people I consider a best friend, all I would need to say is ‘I need you’ and without hesitation they would say ‘ok’ and I would do the same. Throughout my day, I see and think of things that remind me of these friends that makes me smile just thinking about them. Hearing about their lives makes me happy. When something happens in my life, I want to share it with them no matter how big or small. I don’t know where I would be without these people. They came into my life at different times, but when they entered my life it was when I needed them most and I will always be grateful for them. I do not know where I would be without them because they have helped shape me into who I am in more ways than even they know. My friends and family are what give the rest of my life meaning.
